This was my most successful year with okra. I had some reach over 10 inches and they lasted for over 6 months on the plant. This year I planted them and got over 6 inches long with 10 different plants.
These are the strongest gourds out there. Easy care free plants. I left on vacation for a week and they were thriving. This picture was taken 5 days after pollination and the end weight was over 5 pounds.
This is the offspring of my 120 Ritter. It was an early sunflower that had almost no sun and was not watered enough. The seeds may appear small but this year I managed to grow a 6 foot sunflower plant before the squirrels took it down.
This is a fun and easy to grow seed that has had 100% germination so far with over 15 seeds. It was grown in a 25-50 square foot patch. This seed has already grown a plant that was 3 foot long that would have produced a large pumpkin had it not been hit by hail.
This plant was one of the strongest, at about 5 feet on the main vine it split yet somehow by the end of the season the plant had completely sealed up the split. The days got so windy and cold by September 4th to the point where the pumpkin stopped growing. This took 13th place at Nick's garden...
This is the largest field pumpkin I have seen other than the state record at 94.5 Pounds. This is from the same seed that grew the Colorado state record. I had to weigh this on my own scale, so the pumpkin was most likely heavier than what the scale showed.
This is $40 worth of genetics for just $2. This was grown for only 20 days with just 1 leaf. Had the wind been milder this would have been 50 pounds. I hope many try to grow this for fun, because it is easy to grow and does not have to be huge to be entered into contests. This was not the smallest...
This pumpkin was a prize winning pumpkin at $50 for 10th place at Nicks. The genetics cost me over 25 dollars and are superior. A pumpkin from the same seed grew a 2034 pound pumpkin. It was grown on a secondary vine, so this would have been 500. Thanks for growing my seeds, Leif.
This is a fun and easy to grow tall sunflower that is over 10 feet tall. It was started in early June and pollinated at the end of June. This is my tallest sunflower ever grown. It also grew my 97 inch sunflower in 2016.
