In an effort to bring-about an incredible orange cross at every turn every year it seems, lol, this time I have crossed the orangest of the orange into THIS seed, the 100 Est. Gerry '10
(746 Snyder X 689.5 Sandercock).
Seems that I myself was one of the lucky ones to see what came forth from this magical pairing of Atlantic Giant orange genes! See the >INSET< pictures on this one! (346 est., stem and blossom ends) There were ALSO 2 other fruits on this same plant, equally as orange, that were removed to enable this bright beauty to grow to 346 est. lbs.,
although a small hole in the blossom end brought it down before its time---
(there was no way to avoid that);
I am SO looking forward to planting SEVERAL of these in May of '16;
I really think YOU should be, too!---
