The 172 Harrington mother was a cross of the 298.5 Lindley and the 277.5 Barber. The 298.5 was a selfed 302 Kent and the 277.5 is a cross of the 332 Mudd and 321.5 Mudd which are heavy in the 302 Kent genetics as well. This watermelon went 10% heavy to chart.

Off of the former Colorado state record. This easy to grow seed grows well in virtually any environment. I grew it in a 5 by 10 area at almost 6000 feet of elevation. If it grew well there given more space and a better environment I could see it growing over 100.

Jumbo Black Diamond: These seeds are from my 107-pound Blue Rind melon I got my start from cross of a 178 Bright 1977 with a 156 Bright 1981. It is a great eating melon and one you can take to the fair.
