When we've pollinated a blandly-colored fruit-to-be with something like the 600 Fasciano (super-orange)and had to wait a whole year for the outcome, it CAN be WELL worth it, as-in the result shown in the inset picture (528 Kubiak).
Big, orange pumpkins to you, i hope,
from the 620 est.!
PS---the 'OPEN' pollination designation is because there was a cucumber beetle in the (nylon-mesh-bagged) blossom the morning of the pollination.
